Tracking Cyber Posture Rating History

Monitoring the Cyber Posture Rating of a supplier over time can provide valuable insight into how their security practices have evolved. This allows you to identify improvements, spot regressions, and better understand their overall risk profile.


Viewing a Supplier’s Rating History

To view a supplier’s rating history:

  1. Navigate to the Supplier Page for the specific third party.

  2. Enter the Rating History under the “More” tab.

You’ll see a visual trend chart summarizing how the supplier’s rating has changed over time.

Below the trend chart, you’ll find a log of all changes that impacted the rating.


Each entry includes:

  • The date of the change

  • Type of update (e.g., new finding, remediation)

  • Associated findings or actions


Drilling Down

You can click on any individual box in the log to view detailed information, including:

  • Detailed description

  • Severity level

  • Dates when it was discovered, updated, or resolved

This helps you track exactly what influenced the rating over time.

💡The 'Rating History' section only reflects changes that occurred during your company’s most recent assessment. It does not indicate whether a finding is open or closed. To check for open findings, please refer to the Findings section within the Panorays platform.


Viewing Your Own Company's Rating History

In addition to reviewing suppliers, you can also view your own organization’s Cyber Posture Rating trend from your Security Profile page.This provides a clear view of your security performance over time
