Customizing Questionnaire Relationships
Panorays follows the principle that one size does not fit all when it comes to Security Questionnaires. You can tailor each supplier’s questionnaire so it includes only the questions that are relevant to that specific supplier relationship.
🔍 How It Works
Your company’s Questionnaire Template functions as a question repository, not a single fixed questionnaire.
Each group of questions is mapped to specific Relationships, allowing you to dynamically build questionnaires based on how you work with each supplier.
➕ Applying Relationships When Adding a Supplier
When adding a new supplier:
Select the relevant Relationship checkboxes.
Each selected checkbox automatically pulls the corresponding set of questions from your Questionnaire Template.
The result is a customized Security Questionnaire tailored to that supplier’s use case.
💡 Example Use Case
If a supplier:
Develops an application used by your organization, and
Processes personal data (PII) and personal health information (PHI)
You should select the relationship checkboxes that correspond to:
Application development
PII processing
PHI processing
This ensures the supplier receives only the relevant security questions required for proper risk evaluation.
💡 Tips / Important Notes
Selecting more relationships increases questionnaire coverage; selecting fewer keeps it focused.
Relationships help reduce unnecessary questions while maintaining strong risk assessment.
Relationship-based questionnaires improve response quality and supplier experience.
📌 Summary
Customizing Questionnaire Relationships allows you to tailor Security Questionnaires to each supplier’s actual role and risk profile. By selecting the appropriate relationships, you ensure that questionnaires remain targeted, efficient, and aligned with your organization’s security requirements.
