Panorays Axis enables organizations to securely access, analyze, and act on third-party risk data through AI tools, delivering faster insights and more efficient security workflows. It is powered by a remote MCP server that securely connects external LLM tools to your Panorays environment.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open-source standard that allows AI client applications to securely connect directly to external platforms.
Instead of manually copying and pasting vendor data into your AI chats, you can use Panorays’ custom MCP connector to safely query supply chain risk data, run vendor assessments, and pull findings straight from your AI interface.
Is My Data Safe?
Yes. The connection follows standard enterprise security guidelines to keep your data private:
Your conversations stay private: Your main chat history and conversation context are never sent to Panorays. Your AI assistant only sends tiny, specific instructions when it needs to look up a piece of information.
No data is saved on the bridge: The processor that handles requests behaves like a pass-through mirror. It checks your permissions, fetches the data you asked for, and immediately forgets it—saving absolutely zero data.
You are in full control: You can set up your AI tool to automatically read data, but require it to ask for your explicit button-click permission before making any changes.
Connect Using Sign-In
This is the easiest and most secure option for everyday business users using a chat interface. It links the tool directly to your personal user account.
Open your AI application (such as Claude Desktop).
Go to the settings menu, click on Connectors, and select Add custom connector.
Copy and paste this connection link into the URL box:
Click Add. A secure Panorays window will pop up asking you to sign in with your normal corporate email login credentials.
Why it's secure: It gives the AI the exact same system permissions you already have on the platform. If you aren't allowed to see a specific vendor on the main dashboard, your AI assistant won't be able to see it either.
