Effectively addressing third-party security risks is critical to maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture. Our Remediation Tasks feature empowers you to manage and resolve security issues identified through both questionnaire responses and external attack surface assessments—all in one streamlined, collaborative workspace.
🔍 How it works
✅ Quickly generate remediation tasks from:
Security issues flagged in questionnaire responses
Findings from external attack surface assessments
✅ Prioritize and assign to each third party
Prioritize remediation tasks based on severity or risk level
Set deadlines to drive timely resolution
Assign tasks to internal stakeholders or third-party contacts
✅ Collaborate in Real Time
Each remediation task includes built-in tools for smooth communication:
In-app chat for quick discussions with internal or external teams
Easy sharing capabilities for efficient collaboration
✅ Monitor Performance

Creating and Managing Tasks
You can create tasks directly from the Remediation & Tasks tab using the ‘Create Task’ dropdown button. The available options are:
1. Open a General Task
Internal Task: Assign to internal team members; unrelated to remediation
External Task: Assign a general task directly to the supplier
2. Create a Finding Remediation Task
Redirects you to the Findings page, where you can create a remediation task tied to specific issues.
3. Create a Questionnaire Remediation Task
Takes you to the Questionnaire page, allowing you to open a task tied to a particular question.
💡Important notes

Communication: Each task includes a conversation chat box for communicating directly with the supplier.
Automated Reminders: Suppliers receive automatic email reminders as task due dates approach.
Deleting Tasks: Tasks can be removed from either the Remediation & Tasks tab or the Remediation Tasks list by selecting and deleting the relevant item.
