Panorays has introduced a new, simplified supplier onboarding flow that allows you to add suppliers quickly and easily.
With this new flow, you can add suppliers without needing prior knowledge of their background or deciding upfront which assessments to run.
This article walks you through the different ways to add suppliers and the steps to complete their onboarding.
🔍 How to Add a Supplier
You can add a supplier from two entry points:
From the Overview Page
Click Add Supplier directly on the main page
From the Suppliers Page
Click Suppliers in the navigation bar
Select Add Supplier
Selecting or Creating a Supplier
On the Add Supplier page:
Search for the Supplier
Enter the supplier’s name or primary domain (e.g., domainname.com)
A drop-down list will display matching suggestions
Select the supplier, and their company details will auto-fill
💡If several companies belong to one parent organization, you can select either the parent company or the specific supplier.
Create a New Supplier (if not found)
If the supplier doesn’t appear in the drop-down list, click “Create as a new copmany”
Enter the supplier name and primary domain
We recommend using the supplier’s official website domain (e.g., panorays.com)
If adding an IP, always include at least one domain (IPs cannot be added as the only asset)
✅ What’s New?
Simplified Add Supplier Flow – Now split into two steps: (1) Select or create a company, and (2) choose the evaluation type. A supplier is automatically onboarded once completed. The option to send a questionnaire at this stage has been removed.
Dedicated Edit Supplier Page – Accessible as its own tab (visible to all roles, except Observers and Security Posture Manager), with validation applied only to modified sections.
Data Completion Indicators – Each section clearly shows whether required data is missing or completed.
Improved Error Handling – If a supplier already exists, the system suggests creating a segment.
Easier Navigation – Add Supplier is now a dedicated page with bulk upload, share intake form, and quick access via the left menu.
Search in Portfolios & Relationships – A new search option makes it easier to find and assign suppliers.
Tag Management – A new page allows users to create, edit, and delete tags independently. For more information, visit the Tags article.

To import multiple suppliers, click Bulk Upload in the top right corner.
